Lloyd Gray - Founder & Director
Lloyd is a parent, a qualified teacher and Forest School Leader, with a Masters in Education and Social Justice. His degree was originally in criminology but his passion diverted to education, taking on teaching roles with primary, secondary, alternative schools and prison education. His interest now is home education and self-directed learning for all school aged young people.
Tallis Gray - Founder
Tallis is 5 and a half years old, and was the first member, as well as a founder, of the community at Barn Hill. She loves unicorns, pretending to be a dog, making art and playing with our cats. She is looking forward to meeting you and showing you around!
Amity Gray - Founder
AKA "mama". Amity isn't directly involved in the day-to-day operations of BHLC, but is passionate about offering alternatives to mainstream education, and is deeply honoured to provide a venue for BHLC. She has had a wildly varied career, from alternative therapies, to pioneering retail settings including Etsy, Nkuku, and her own brick-and-mortal shop in Bridport, Dorset. She also builds websites (including this one) and gives in-depth intuitive readings.
